Rewrite:

Forever Mine

She knelt besides the waters edge
Looking deep surmise.
Watching coral gardens flow and
Swimming butterflies.

Sketched her with my fountain pen each
Stroke became alive.
Etched it in my mind as well to
Make it to survive.

Stole a moment of her time for
Future idolize
Something more than whimsy dream to
Stay before my eyes

Now I hold the black and white with
Tears that never dry
Alone by the waters edge of
Swimming butterflies.

A moment of ageless shrine that
Is forever mine?

Picture perfect, Sy....I can envision it all....a most lovely garden, with swimming butterflies....

among the lilies....

beneath the willows....

an Impressionist's delight....

~Forever In Time ... Forever In Rhyme ... Forever Mine~

He writes his heart and soul with pen sincere
verses of the kind of love we all wish to realize
He wistfully pens his rhyme scheme dreams
words of his rose of suppose, rainbows and butterflies

Like the artist that he is with both brush and pen
he paints for us the Shangri-La and Eden in his mind
He holds our hand as we walk on his beaches of understand
and he takes us to places where all is peaceful and kind

He is indeed idolized by the butterflies
they put him on a pedestal of wisdom's shrine
Engraving his grace in the forever of time and space
and promising he'll never part this butterfly heart of mine

This is absolutely beautiful...may the color come to your black and white and bless your life with the beauty of this piece.  Even if it's a fictional tale, it's lovely.

Jeremy,
Thank you for the beautiful.

Martie,
That's quite an accomplishment. *L*

VAS,
What a lovely comment.

Nan,

Nan I dub thee Nightingale
The spirit that moves this web.
The angel behind the veil.
That tenders the flow and ebb.

Comforts us and holds us dear
Tip toes through the words that be
For each a pat on the rear
Put in proper light to see.

Tireless your light and bright
Do soft compress to our fear
Tend us like a fairy might
Sending each a ray of cheer.

Your an angel in disguise
Without enough of cognize.
