Dance amongst this,
the fair days of summer sun.
Dance your heart to this,
the sound of wonder from afar.
How the farthest pale light
reaches me from a beach along the shore
where I fall to the ground
seeing my face in the sky.
The lightning of sudden storm
across the Rockies as I drive
rage at my souls abundent fear
that I take in second stride.
I hear the calling of ancient songs
that echo in the canyons
where a people lived and died
leaving their history for the wind.
And yet I dance to sacred heart
one that follows me in time,
looking through my eyes at a world
of dust and rain, making us new.

nice...I especially like this section:

hear the calling of ancient songs
that echo in the canyons
where a people lived and died
leaving their history for the wind.
And yet I dance to sacred heart
one that follows me in time,

This write says so much and as always with the wisdom of your old soul which has lived many times before I am sure.  You know if travel inspires you so, perhaps a trip is in order.
