I Saw Your Sweet Face In Waves Of The Ocean

I saw your sweet face in waves of the ocean.
Each blowing breeze brought a wisp of emotion.
Suddenly, salty tears I started to cry,
There were still no answers, or reasons why.

Angel friend, this day will not cast gloom on me,
As I see your smiling face in the endless sea.
I think of you, and dismiss any thought of abyss,
And I smile at your journey of endless bliss.

When you reach your final resting place,
You’ll be surrounded with love’s purest grace.
Busy, meeting some of your friends from our past,
They will hold your hand when your home at last.

An amazing light, so warm and tender will surround,
There will be angels hovering not making a sound.
You didn’t wrestle like Jacob demanding a blessing,
So as an angel you’ll have no trouble impressing.

So there are no tears for I know you’re okay,
I dreamt about you last night and recall it today.
I will savor the memories of one very special friend,
Until one day it comes my turn to also transcend.

Speechless is about how I felt viewing this and reading down the page, oh, Sharon, it is so lovely and vivid. It jumped right out at me and drew me in!  Thank you for this work you put into this, it is very much appreciated.

I was wonderfully blessed with this one, Sharon, that when the music stopped, I e-mailed the web address to special friends so they might share in the entirety of this post.  Then I almost forgot to come in and tell you.

Oh, this is so tremendously wonderful!!!

and your signature sentence was more powerful to me today than ever before, for some reason.

Irish Rose~* I truly thank you for your kind words, and I am glad you came on the journey with me this morning, it was wonderful!

Suetang,~* Thank you and I know you have been there, and still see him in your garden somewhere.

Virginia~* I am glad you shared it, she is worth sharing "big time", and go to the site and see all the lovely angels and music I adore it there, and spend many an hour looking and listening.  I am glad you liked this it means a lot to me. Oh...my signature comes in memory of a friend, but it also comes from a country song that I love and the words, dance, I hope you dance, caught my mind, as it says, if you have a choice to sit or dance, dance! And, in this life we get one dance to complete.  So I should give credit to the singer or writer for parts of it, but at the moment don't know who it is but I will find out soon and put it there, thanks.

Marge~*It takes one to know one , and I listened to the song, "You gotta have heart" a lot when I was young.    Thank you and a big hug.

Sunshine~*I do appreciate the fact that you notice I try to make people smile and I also appreciate your kind words even more as they come from a friend, thank you.

Balladeer~*Thank you and big, big hug, you sweet rhyming man you!

How beautiful a poem, for a special friend. You are doing the best thing to handle the sadness, I think, writing beautiful words for her.

Mysteria, as always I could feel your heart beating in every single word. Everytime the whispering waves kissed the shore... you will hear them say..... " I love you too my friend."   Such a great talent for visuals you have and what a humongous, generous, loving soul.... Love and peace Maggie ((~.~))

I'm glad you did VAS. It's a lovely heart felt poem. A lot of caring went in to it and a lot came out. I'm just glad to have had the chance to comment on it. I must have missed it the first time around.

Vandana, I am so glad you liked this.

Suthern: You are right, there could never have been a more special person in my life, next to my immediate family, but for anyone who has lost someone I hope it works, and thank you your comments always mean a great deal to me
