I want to dance
a miracle--
I want to make
the heavens swirl...
I want to make it
all come true--
sunbeams carved
into my shoes
future hope
in past unfurled,
as I kick
the wood from me--
hearing but the
wings of girl,
such thunder hungers
after me...

How I pray for wing's enfold...
feather
keep me from the cold
Angels please
enrapture me--
sing sweet
lullabies
of sleep...

serenity - most telling that you write, and with the softness of an angel.

A lullabye to my ears Serenity.  Sleep comes so few times these days, but with poetry like this.......the dreams will be sweet.  Hugs.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

You know dreams have a way of coming true. I pray this one does. Words straight from the heart, enjoyed this alot.

"Here I am in prison, here I am with a ball and chain There is whiskey in the jar-o" Traditional irish song.

I would sing a song
Sweet lullaby
If I only could
I would but try
But to hear me strain
Well, I think you'd cry
I pray for you
that peace might come
To find sweet dreams
In lullaby

feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly." ~unknown

Lula by and goodnight serenity, Sleep tight.
I'm not an angel but I liked your poem.

Do not fear going forward slowly,
Fear only standing still.
