How Many Moons Have I ?

~*Marge Tindal*~

~Tell me
please, how many
moons have I yet to phase
across alluring nights of love
I have peaked in the crescent
knowing new love's on the rise
I have basked in the knowing
I am soon set to glowing
with the love shining
in your eyes~

And ... that's but the half of it~

~ I have
risen so half-full
to the specter of you
Shrouded in mystery of
the time we spent apart
Glowed in full-measure
of pure pleasure sent
from bright glow
of heart~

How many moons have I~

~Again, you phase in
the fullest of soon-rising orb
of soft alabaster glow, wanting only
that you should know - you catch me in
your loving light and hold me in raptured
shine of the night - fully extending rays
of soft glow - spilling of such thrill seeps
through my heart and my soul as to keep
me in mesmerize reflected in another's
eyes Waiting for soft expelled sighs
that lay across a diamond sky
in phases full of realize
the glow of love~

And then ... there you glow again~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Ahh, Marge, very gentle smile.  The moon wraps its moonbeams around you, holding you close to its heavenly draw, ahh, but then you are of the heavens in all you do and say

In Passion land,
you're one reflected light.
In this world of which we live,
illuminating is your visional write.
Inspiration surely your poetry gives
to heaven's angels who visit this sight
and I am happy to be joined with them
entertained by your heavenly delights.
So may your imagination remain full
that your voice may always shine;
for it's love you've shown us
with poetry divine.

It's very easy for me to ignore many of the options this forum provides for creation of an aesthetic piece.     You don't seem to share that problem at all.  Thanks for brightening my night with this painting and song intertwined.
