To all of you who read this
and felt the pain I feel, I thank you.  Today is a new day, a day of remembering, and with it came a smile of days held close to my heart in the past.  I want to thank you all for your kindness and good wishes, the friendship here at Passions is like nowhere else.  I showed this to my friend's husband who could not believe that people who had never met would care about each other so much, and show such compassion, BUT he doesn't know us too well does he?  Thanks again, you have absolutely no idea how I appreciated all this, and somehow needed it.  I didn't think this was too good, but now through your lovely comments I will insert it into the program for Friday, thank you for also helping me get through a very bad day my friends at Passions.

If I made you smile today then I did my job!

Balladeer, you honor us both, thank you.  She was a very special "one of a kind" kind of friend, and she left me tons to ponder.

Sharon,

As I said tonight, I can't even imagine the loss of my best friend.  This poem left me in tears.  Yeah, I don't care if the "men" here know that I cry.  I wish you all my best and please feel free to call on me if you need a shoulder or just a friend to talk with.  (((hugs))))

A final thank you to you all for being so very kind as this has been really difficult for me. However through some of you I came to realize she still lives through me and as long as I keep those memories alive or pass them on so she goes on.  Her finale (as she wanted it called) is today at 10:00 a.m. so I will not be saying goodbye but instead to have a safe journey until we meet again.  Thank you all so much.

If you have a choice to sit down or dance, dance!

ahh, Sharon.   You have such a beautiful way, and this is an excellent poem. You brought tears to someone who hasn't been able to cry in months. Excellent work, and you know when I'm on if you ever need some company to get you through. (((HUGS))):lovya:

I know where the ink came from for this beautiful poem. Words so sweetly sad can only be written when we dip the quill into a grieving heart. Your friend Jenna was fortunate to know you, and I feel blessed to discover your gift of verse.

I want to thank you all for reading this tribute to my friend.  I am making a special page for her on my web page called "Willow's Ways" but will write each of the memories here first.  Her daughter has asked me to do this for her, and her children, as she said she never knew of two friends so close as her Mother and I.  Even as an angel her spirit still lives in all that I see, and feel, for she is forever a part of me, always will be!  Thank you all so much for you very kind words.

All of the comments herein bring me comfort on this very difficult day.  Another anniversary to deal with.  I wonder when this ever gets easy to deal with?
