Dear God,
I want you to know I need  you, especially now
I know the Devil is tryin to shake me
and I dont know how
people are saying you dont even exist
if my faith isnt enough
than I dont know what is
Oh God I saw the smoke, and the rubbel that day
That was when Hell came, and God, it stayed
The twinz went down
and they blamed all Arabs for it
Like it didnt shake me at all
When those 2 planes hit
and my heart, still feels as empty as ground zero
the rubbel has cleared
but im still searchin for my hero
from above we probably look like ants when we crawl
we're squished together and plenty
and theres no difference at all
Between a Black or a White, and Arab and a Jew
theres one thing in common
We all need you
Amen

This was extremely well written, and it was a great idea to write about such a sensetive subject in the form of a prayer. Well done on this one, hope to hear more from you soon.

Wow, I really liked this, at a memorial service yesterday I shared an email I had recieved, and it relates to this very much.  It asks where God was on September 11, 2001, and it answers that very question.  God was holding up 2-110 story buildings letting 2/3 of the people escape.  God was giving courage to people on planes to stand up for themselves, God was creating obstacles for everyone involved.  Only 20,000 out of 50,000 workers were at the towers that day, only 266 on the planes out of a potential 1000.....

God was everywhere that day, and it is hard for us to remember it when we reflect on the horror that struck our country and our hearts 1 year ago.  Don't ever stop believing...
