In my kitchen,
hot pockets still line the freezer
my feet are still cold against the floor
But there's no heat from the old microwave
For you don't eat here anymore

On the stage,
Laughter still echoes through the curtain,
The evil doctor's hair still tied with lace
But the spotlight shines no more
  Upon the angel's smiling face

In Paradise,
   Strawberries still grow wild
And you can still see little frogs
  But nothing is copasetic
For Calvin still needs her Hobbes

(I don't expect any of you to actually like this one...it makes no sense to anyone but me because everything in it is old inside jokes or experiences with a friend I miss...but thank you for reading anyway, I appreciate it )

The day you were born, you were born free
That is your privilege.

The title for this is begging for minimalism, or atleast in my eyes it is.  It is begging for some turn, for something unexpected.  Take this title, sit in a dark room with it, and show us what it can do.
