in the pouring rain

deep down i know
true feelings surge
i now am drowning
your silent words

smelling your sweat
watching you breath
is almost more than
i can ever take

sweet surrender
smiling so bitterly
around my heart
a shiny glass plate

if you try and break
the bond of parts
then you shall find
my surpassing love

try hard to find a place
like i know you want to
seemingly mindless i find
that it is to hard for me

to grasp my love
my undying love
simple minded is it
what is within it shall be

for you
