late at night
when stars shine above
i smile as i think
about the one on my mind

my fingers touch
to my wistful lips
and put upon it
a poem for you

may this kiss be delivered
on the wings of a dove
white as snow
yet pure as life

recieve it with open arms
know it was from me
when you feel a kiss
on your anxious face

smile and return it
i will be waiting
wether you will or not
is up to you

i am scared you will
but terrified you won't
my emotions swirl
as breath touchs fingers

off into the night
the kiss flys away
may the wind carry it
safely to you

once again

This is such a nice wish, that a kiss would be brought on the wind to a person. I think it's very sweet. But then I say that about all I've read from you! Keep it up Riley!

A lovely poem, here. You did a good job,it is an easy read and flows pretty well. I especially like the last two stanzas. Keep it up!
