floating down a river...

Something's changed in you,
I've been noticing it,
Since you moved away.
Does this distance mean you have to act distant?
This difference in time zones,
Sometimes makes it hard,
To get you on the phone.
Do hundreds of miles mean hundreds of missed opportunities?
Just thought I'd let you know,
While you're on the west coast,
The east coast seems lonely.

Somewhat of a vent, I suppose, but not quite. Anyway...enough from me. Thanks for reading.

Ahhh yes I understand this. Sometimes if the other person is so caught up in moving and changing they forget their old lives and friends...I'd say just give him some time. Write him a letter maybe?

Nice vent. Feels good I bet.

'does the distance mean we have to act distant', I love that line and I liked the whole poem and whether it was a vent or not I still thought it was a clever poem and I enjoyed reading it
