We all differ in many ways, But we live our lives the same. Not how we want, but how our peers want us to. Most of us live in fear of never having acceptance. We never show our true selves, So how do we know we are different? We don’t! We stand in the shadows of everyone else. Not wanting to be seen, yet we yearn to be noticed. Not different just noticed. So we put on a mask, A mask that covers our true selves, For that fear of acting different is too great. We must be the same, never ever different For that would bring us ruin. ***Kacie*** |
