Cupboards of baking soda,
Peppermints – where’s the good
Ol’ cookin’ at girl? Where’s the
Tastey grip? Your house feels like
A graveyard jamboree, my red lips
A strange color stain in a life
So plain

Money doesn’t mind as long as
It can steal your time, your water
Belly dry, and now you’re a
Dimple dame but your eyes are
Still the same, you haven’t changed

But you’re convinced, I see, you
Change your dress thinking it’ll
Be your afternoon tea – there in
Your big house with rooms and
Rooms but they’re just rooms
And rooms with naked beds and
Tear stain wallpaper

'Your big house with rooms and

strangely alluring.

i love that line.

you seem to be modifying your style slightly.

but i can still recognize your poetry a mile away.

i'm digging it more than tommy's grave.

I hate the slight hint of rhyming in this. It pisses me off. That's how it came out though.

Thanks Jen.

Oooh.. P.S. - I looked at your little site thingy the other day. I really like your tattoo. It's "phat".

very interesting
I'd appreciate it if you explain things for me
all I can sense is I believe you're mad at someone
so, looking forward to an explanation
thanks

Well, what don't you understand? I'm not mad by the way. I feel sorry for her and I wish that I could help her instead of just wish her well like I have for the past few years.

"Money doesn’t mind as long as
It can steal your time"

Like those lines, a lot. *nods*

Funky poem. I personally love the hint of rhyme. That's just me though. Different, still completely your style. Tight.

Sincerely,
