When the harsh summer sun hit the tarmac,
as planes came and went,
I sat at home
all alone.

One plane headed to Michigan,
Colorado,
California,
and
Mexico.

Each one carried away
a friend of mine,
leaving me sitting at home,
making this
one lonely summer.

I think i know exactly how you feel. all my friends work this summer and noone is ever home. and some of my good friends are in viriginia, north carolina, and colorado. but there are always things you can do alone, or make new friends!

I know just how you feel. All of my friends left me too. It makes me cry at night sometimes...is that weird? I don't think so. But I miss them soo much. But that was a great poem!!

Aww... *hugs* I know what you mean; all my friends are gone too. Maybe use it as a time to get to know yourself, and become your own best friend? That's what I'm trying to do
