Do you ever feel so alone So alone you want to cry You watch yourself fall apart As your life begins to spin around you? Do you ever feel you're drowning Getting lost in your own emotions Your once beautiful life Begins to wrap itself in ugliness? Do you ever tell yourself You will make it on your own After your friends go back to their lives Thinking you will be all right? ~*Grace*~ |

you have to make it on your own. you're the only person you can depend on.  that's the way i see it. a good write. and yes. sometimes, i do feel like that. it's our struggle for identity that leaves us all unknown |

All the time. Say whatever? Ok. I'll critique. Poetically speaking, this wasn't great. But..that's not always what matters, is it? Personally speaking, (-your- personally, not mine) you've spilled your guts and I really respect people who can do that. Advice? Somtimes, when you're feeling like this, you might want to wonder where it's all coming from, and how you can change that. As comforting as it is being down, being up is much more fun. It'll get better. It might not -stay- better, but it'll get better. "Feelings are not supposed to be logical. Dangerous is the man who has rationalized his emotions." |

I agree with Carly on this- "It may not stay better, but it'll get better.". It does get better, life has ups and downs and the bad somehow always seems overpowering. This was rather powerful. Why is it that we are at our most ingenius only when trying to destroy the things that keep us alive and thriving? |
