I want to be the one you turn to
whenever you have a problem.
I want to be the one to hold you
like you've held me before.
I want to be the one you want
to spend your time with.
I want to be the one you care about
the one you love with all your heart.
I want to be the one and only
the significant other to your not yet perfect self.
I want to be the one who's silence
doesn't make you question the secrets I'm keeping.
I want to be the one who matters
the one whose life you'd sacrifice your own to save.
I want to be the one you can reach out and touch
and never have to worry about leaving.
I want to be that single person
who means the most to you.
So tell me,
am I being selfish?
Because you are the one I turn to,
the one who holds me in their arms.
The one I want to spend time with,
the one I care about with all my heart,
the significant other to the broken me,
the one I don't question,
the one who matters.
You are the one who's life I'd sacrifice my own to save, the one I never have to worry about leaving.
You are that single most important person to me.

wow oh wow. that is seriously like the best poem i have ever read and...wow. you totally expressed yourself so well in it.....wow, for lack of better words to describe this...wow! LOL. great job!!!!
