A Lonely Realization

For once in my life
I would like to be me
Able to be a teenager
Allowed to be free

Not kept back at all
What's wrong with me?
I need to get out
Just, leave me be

Stop the hurting
And stop the tears
No more pain
Get rid of the fears

I don't want to be me
I want to be someone else
Someone who's happy
I don't like myself

it seems like the mood and the feelings of the person change from the beginning to end and it seems like it's disconnected...

but that's not true. just read it again and slower and you see it makes absolute sense.
what a great piece of writing!

it's one of those times in life when you have to think you're not screwed up. you're having a reaction of frustration to screwed up situations. changing yourself may help for a while, but you eventually have to face the problems as yourself...rambling now...

being young blows...

I like this poem . . . Especially the above stanza. I can completely realte to this very lonely feeling . . . I hope you don't still feel this way!
