An innocent heart
that seeks for her soul
and finding that love
was her only goal
than she could breath
and open up her eyes
and finally let go
of all the pain from the lies
was it wrong for me to dream
of the green in his stare
because I knew that he would love me
when no one else was there
All my life I've been quiet
letting things pass me by
but when they tell me I can't love him
that's no time to be shy
So I'd gather up my strength
and yes, I'd run away
praying that God will make them understand
and forgive me oneday
So when he asks me to marry him
I'll look into his eyez
and with all my heart and soul
I'll say yes a thousand times
