I’M BACK – For now, at least. LoL Ya’see I’m currently having 2 problems: 1) I’ve got some SERIOUS writer’s block (I think I’ve written like mabbe 3 or 4 poems since January) and 2) I haven’t really had the tyme to even be online. My boyfriend, David, and me have either been out just about everynight on the phone. Anywayzzz – This poem was written for “Justin Michael” those of you who remember him…help me…those of y’all that don’t, should check out some of my poetry from Sept ’00 thru about March ’01 (yea, I’ve been around here for a looooong tyme)

Sometymes the past brings a tear –
But then, sometymes it draws a smile.

I knew when you broke up with me –
You’d come back to me some day.

But what I wasn’t ready for –
Was to have someone else in my life.

Someone that does care about me –
And treats me the way I wanted you to.

I wasn’t expecting to cry for you –
So long after you’d ended our love.

What on earth gave you the right –
To come back and get my emotions going?

Somehow, I knew it was going to happen –
That you’d be back when you saw my smile.

But it doesn’t matter to me, anymore –
All you ever did was cause me pain.

“LA told me, "You'll be a pop star,
All you have to change is everything you are."
Tired of being compared to dang Britney Spears
She's so pretty, that just ain't me”

Have you ever heard that "No shirt, No shoes" rule? My question is...Why doesn't that rule include pants?

Another town another hotel room
Another dream that ended way too soon
Left me lonely way before the dawn

Have you ever heard that "No shirt, No shoes" rule? My question is...Why doesn't that rule include pants?
