In an upside-down garden

he walks past me to the door
he closes his eyes
and says hello to me.
his soul crawls past me on the floor
he slithers away
and says good-bye to me.
He says there's nothing left to say
he's used up his word quota for the day
he can't tell me how he's feeling.
I hear the dial tone in my ear.
He's not the same as he used to be.
He doesn't talk like he used to.
When he talks his voice sounds
more rough to me.
When he talks he's still silent.

Just a little something.Justin won't tell me the truth now and he just sits there on the phone with me, breathing but not saying anything.

Hmm... Some guys are jerks... of course some girls are the same... but oh well... we can just forget that little detail... ok? ok, good

Seriously though, a well done poem. Very cool. I am now going to read the other one, and if I can think of something mildly smart to say, I'll even reply!
