OMG *note* after I hit sumbit I turned the station and Nickelback was on..soo weird..I've just had the grief on the back burner and I haven't really dealt with the friendship that ended with this guy..but I know I won't turn my back, I won't go back..I know I'm strong

It's been 11 days
Since I hung up the phone
So when I come home from work
I go up to my room
And turn on the radio
But they're always playing the
Songs that remind me of you
One after another
Tuning into my heart
Why are you messing
With the frequency of my soul
I told you already
I'm not turning my back
Not ever calling you back
You were supposed to be my friend
But your insincerity brought
It all to an ugly end
I wish for once
Your ghost would leave me alone
Perhaps it all would go away
If I turned off the radio
How many more times
Can my fragile soul
Take Nickelback or even "Don't fight the Moonlight"
All because I start to dream
Start to reminisince of your tainted kiss..

wow good one It came right from the heart! The nickleback was a good touch because that song reminds me of my ex! Glad you shared the poem WRITE more when you get a chance

I dont know where you get your words from...You write amazing!!! And this one is just one more great poem of yours to add to the list of them all!!! Im really glad I got to read this one too!!! Makes me think of my ex cause we both loved the same songs and I think about him non~stop when I hear some of them...Keep it up girl!!!

WOw...this was a great poem Ceinwyn...its kinda ironic that after you posted this Nickelback came on...isnt life weird like that?

I really, reall liked this. I totally understand what you mean. Damn near every song I hear reminds me of someone. More bad memories than good, unfortunately. Excellent job
