This is a poem for my dead granmother to try and find a way to sya Goodbye and let her know how much I miss her!

This is my way of saying
My Final Goodbye
I sought to say it for two years now
Ever since you died
I hadn't seen you for months
And then you got sick.
I wasn't allowed to see you
Because you were sick.
They put you in hospital
Beacuse of the pain
I wished I could help you
Get rid of the pain
They couldn't help you
Nothing more to do
Then the angels came down
And away they took you,
Up into the blue.
I know that you're safe now
You're up there with God
Taking your bow.
What I'm trying to say
Is what I regret most
I never said Goodbye
You beat me to the post
I miss you so much
You're still in my heart
If I could change anything
I'd go back to the start
And one thing I'd make sure of
Is to say Goodbye to you
My Wonderful Granny
My heart speaks it true.
I'll miss you forever,
As long as I live
This is Goodbye now
Though your spirit still lives.

Sometimes it's difficult to let go, sometimes it's difficult to grieve, but the people we miss are always held close to us in our hearts. Your poem is wonderful and very lovely, thank you for sharing it with us.

Sometimes these "final goodbyes" can be great closure.
Good luck
This was well done.  I enjoyed it

that was touching...always a good thing to ease your pain and set your mind at rest

The death of someone you love is very hard to deal with and almost imposible to get over, and I know what you are going through. But this is a beautiful poem and I really hope things get better for you.
