Almost Lost You As A Friend

We've been best friends,
sence 2ed grade.
I would always tell you everything,
as you did the same.

We would go and do everything together.
Where one was,
there was the other,
we were practically inseparable.

We never fought with each other,
that was until 10th grade,
when we got in a fight over a guy.

It lasted for 3 weeks,
our longest fight ever,
but we made up,
and became inseparable again.

Then I started going out,
with this guy.
Everything seemed cool at first,
but then you and I,
stopped talking as much,
and didn't spend as much time together,
as we use to.

We were starting to grow apart,
all because of me.

I let the one thing,
that I swore,
would never get between us,
a guy.

Because I choose,
to spend most of my time,
with him,
and barely talk,
nor spend time with you,
I almost lost you as a friend.

I never knew,
how much you ment to me,
until it was to late.

How could I have been so stupid?

It sucks to be separated from good friends fo stupid reason, huh? I hope that your friendship is able to be put back together. The poem was good, it captured your emotions well, great write.

Small things can put such distance between two people. It's inevitable.
