"Paths Of The Heart"

The path we tread
Upon the dust of the earth
Is in essence the pathway of the heart
Each one being joined to all others

It is along this path
That many things
Both great and small
Shall happen

But in either case the world is changed
With each step taken upon this path
For as we cross paths with another
We are given a chance
To touch to touch their heart
Forever changing their world

As then they will touch our heart in return
Thus in doing so creating a bond
Purer then any water
More precious then any gem
Stronger then the earth itself
That will outlast all the stars in the sky

So when you feel as though
You have lost your way
Remember
That no matter the distance
We will never be far
As within each of us
We carry pieces of each other
Memories never meant to fade

As long as the stars do shine
In their heavenly abode
We shall be with you always and forever
Because of they way you touched our hearts
But most of all because you are
Our friend

Very well done indeed!

The meter was certainly interesting. I enjoyed the way you seemed to have a internal rhyme at some parts.

The content was interesting, and heavy. I definitely enjoyed this. It's been a while wince I've seen your work around. I hope all is well, and I look forward to seeing more, hopefully soon
