A Friendship Has Come To A End |

A friendship comes to an end You and I said, “lets be friends forever” We met in 95 and we got along Everyone mixed up our names because we looked alike You told me about a school that you went too I followed you We’d laugh we’d help each other Soon it was January of 2001 And we were going to graduate in the following June We did everything together You poured apple juice down my back last year Summer came our friendship broke We didn’t talk to each other It was September again We went back to school It turned to Disney trip We had the best time of our lives Went on every ride We laughed at each other I thought to myself “this is great” One night we went to a club What fun was that with guys dancing with you It turned into December we were doing so well Until New Years Eve our friendship broke My heart broke no one could mend it Instead of coming back to school happy I came to school hurt by you “I can no longer be your friend,” you wrote in a poem I thought I was going to cry Instead I shook The next day you talked to me But our friendship was never going to be the way it was It hurt me But I guess all good things come to an end If you ever read this I need you to know theses things You always helped me when I was in pain When I needed to talk you’d listen I’d help you We helped each other threw thick & thin Now I don’t believe in “friends forever” If I could put our friendship in words I would But now our friendship is out the door It bounced like a ball into a river The water took and it will never come back to us Just remember Make mistakes and you should listen Just if you made a mistake I’d listen Good Bye Kelly Minna "If you can dream it, then you can believe in your dreams. aww, this is so sad. it hurts to loose a friend. i'm sure we've all been through it. might i ask what caused the friendship to break off? i wasn't sure if it broke off on good terms or bad ones. but don't give up on the whole "friends forever" things. friendships come and go but TRUE FRIENDS will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS be there. good write. -ab "Whatever you are doing, love yourslef for doing it. When I read the poem I read to the end and thats what it said. I was mad, sad, I cried and wanted to tell her "Kelly you hurt my feelings". But I backed off and left. It was a hurtful day.  Min "If you can dream it, then you can believe in your dreams. Crazy D" |

Friends forever is such a lie people tell me that all the time but as soon as I graduate I'm out of here and I doubt I'll talk to 95 percent of them again.But I know what your going through my and my former best friends just went through the same thing a few months ago so I know how much it hurts.But anyway beautiful poem I really like it and i can't wait to read more. I hae been out of school 3 years now, and I can tell you that friendships are lost and gone no sooner than you walk out the school gate! I had a great group of friends at school and I see three of them. One I lost and then found again, another I see extremely rarely and the other I live with and am moving out from this weekend and the friendship at the moment is extremely stretched. Things are never the same again. School yard friends don't normally last long! Keep your head high! MelZ!!! You can't hurt me anymore than I have hurt myself already... |
