You are my hero I look up to you And respect you I come to you for advice And hope you will take me seriously I can come to you with problems You find answers for me And show me how to fix the problem I don’t have to say a word, but you know what I am going to say I can talk to you forever And you will just listen I come to you with open arms And I leave with one more hug I never had Someone hurts me you go hurt them Twice as hard as they hurt me You understand how I feel Like no one else does You dry my eyes When they are wet And helps me up onto my two feet I can't live without you Because my hero never leaves me Nor gives up on me You take me into your life with so much trust You care about me as a person And you don't treat me as I where a thing Hero’s never die That’s what you are my hero And will always be my best friend, My love, And my hero.
