What was I suppose to learn?
How am I suppose to deal?
Who am I suppose to turn too now?
My life and your life is all we had.
You were there for me and I was there for you.
My fears where your fears,
There was nothing we kept from each other.
We have always seen our ups and downs
But I never knew our lives can turn around so fast
Then please tell me what happened?

Someone please tell me how do I stop hurting from a best friendship that was great for 8 years.

This was a great poem, I hope things are ok for you, losing a good or best friend can be very hard but sometimes all you can do is move on.

i know how it feels to loose a friend. i lost my friend because of college. i miss her terribly i told her everything and confided in her and now i haven't seen since october. i hope you will be ok. i don't know you but if you need to talk i am here.

the loss of a great friendship sucks and i know what you mean. If it makes you feel any better you wrote it out well.. sometimes thing change but there is always hope, never lose that.

Losing a friendship can be very difficult...but unfortunately these kinds of things happen in life and wat doesnt kill us will only make us stronger...

Your situation reminded me a lot of the quote

"your so much a part of me that if you leave me, i wont exist"

I thought that related quite a bit...::hugs::

Thank you all. I know this is what happenes in life, but yet again as I say I never thought it was going to happen to me. I thank you all for the help and support you all are giving me. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Thank you once again!

Belle, this is a very tough situation. And unless I know the specs, I don't think I can help you much more than saying this: If the friendship is meant to be, then it will last. Things will fix themselves, and everything will be hunky-dory again. But if the friendships fades, then it fades. There's not muhc you can do to help it. Remember, friendships are a two-way thing. If you're the only one that wants to make it work, then take my word on it, it won't work.

keep your head up, friendships have tough times but the strong ones will always pull through. good write and best of luck.
