My Salvation- I sit alone on the cold floor, Crying...whimpering...paying my life in tears. I look around to see no happiness... For allI see is deciete and hate. Just as I think life is delivering Coup de Grace, I feel powerful arms closing in on me. Strangley...those arms bring warmth---they're yours! I hear your comforting whisper, "Shhhh...chin up!" I look into your eyes, and my world turns... Spinning...twisting...throwing the bad away. But...I still keep of you...for I am weak. I am weak without your blessed friendship... The best friend I could have is one I see. Staring right at you...patient, caring, wise. You're all I can ask for in a friend!!! As if you were my own blood, I care for you more than any human can comprehend. I owe you so much...but all I have is this: My promise to you, that I will help you through life... Just as you do for me! I will pay you back! My arms, heart and soul are always open to you! In my waking hours, feel me giving you stregnth... And when I'm asleep, feel me with you.. Know that no matter what happens... I'll always be there for you as you are for me... ------------ If you guy haven't guessed yet---this poem is dedicated to somebody! But...I'm not gonna just outright say to who! All I'll let you know is this---the one person who it's deticated to...they know who they are! Um---I think this poem is fulla shot wholes...and I won't hate you if you agree! After all...I DID write this poem on the 16 hour bus-ride to Edmonton! And as a personal note---you know who you are! And---thank you! Thank you for all that you've done...I WILL pay you back sometime! I honestly don't know where I'd be if I never met you... ~ Alex Surrender now, or prepare to fight! |

I KNOW WHO IT'S ABOUT!!! *looks around* Ok, no I don't know who it's about....happy?  Interesting piece though, Alex. It's nice to see a person being so good to you when your life seems more chaotic than a regular hour on Jerry Springer. Take care and I hope things work out. Awww I do believe an angel recieved its wings today..this is the 3rd time a poem I have read has helped thaw my cold heart and break down that wall I built around it these past few months..I'm starting to believe in love again..it's sooo sweet I love the poem and I love the idea that there is such a thing as friendship...someday I know I will find my that one person I can trust with all my heart again and not be decieved or have them turn out to be a psycho *story of my friggen life* *Hugs* kristen |
