Pretender's Puppet Passed on
(Death of a Puppet)

If you had to stab me
Stab me in the front
You pretenders really ----
I finally opened up
Thought I could trust
How mindless could I have been?
   To try so hard
If I’m not good enough, not cool enough
   To believe
In life

Now it doesnt matter, Im bleeding to death.

All my pipe dreams down the drain
My tears are falling like the red rain
And I can’t stop either one
My heart is freezing like the black snow
Why does it hurt if I’m so numb?

Now it doesnt matter, Im freezing to death.

Emotional distress
My life is a mess
This is it I guess
It’s over.
I can’t try again
I’m broken down
No one is around
Will the angels catch me?

Now it doesnt matter, Im dead.
I guess this is goodbye to anyone has noticed me here. Its been great, sorta...

this was a pretty kooly poem, i love this part:

My heart is freezing like the black snow
Why does it hurt if I’m so numb?

maybe i'll catch fire, something nice to warm me. something pure to burn away the darkness, that hides inside my mind. -alkaline trio-

The poem was powerful and strong. The message was pretty out there yet at the same time hidden in a way.
