Laughing and smiling faces
Another harmonious day
feeling good on the inside
and letting that feeling stay.

Smile at you when you smile at me
because now you are my friend
It feels so good to smile inside
I can't let this feeling end.

Skip down the halls and laugh
because I can't sit here anymore
Scream to the world that I'm happy
As I leap right out the door.

Off the walls I bounce
As they all just stare at me
because the happiness described
I will never see.

It's a trick that they see through
because I act like that alot
We all know that all of this
Is everything I'm not.

Well, I really do like this poem. It reminds me of how I try to live up to what everyone else wants of me, so I put on a fake smile and act like I am happy, when I am really not. I really do like this one, I hope to hear more from you!!!!

Yeah I know what you mean about trying to live up to what other people expect of you that is the story of my life.But recently I've realized that I can't be strong for everyone all the time sometimes i need to show how I really feel.But th is is a great poem I like it keep up the awsome work.

Ah the masks...How wonderful...

In the end, you will do what makes you happy. This feeling of elation will eventually come to you. Be yourself no matter how much others may hate it (i'm a fine one to talk but anyway).

Like Acire said, keep your chin up. Remember, nothing stays the same forever.
