It stands tall and Proud,
One time in the year,
Decorated with shimmering lights,
To draw the Children near.

Kids always seem to Know,
that Christmas eve has come,
With people in the snow,
and holoy up for fun.

The rattling on the roof,
You know that santa's here,
so tucked away in bed,
that he'll not see you there.

When you drift into a sleep,
and the morning dost you wake,
those cookies from the night before,
are no longer on the plate.

Santa must have surely come,
with gifts of your delight,
that all the thingsyou asked for,
come within one night.

So when people ask you,
Is santa really true,
You can surely nod your head,
because he came to you.

Yeh, well, sorry i haven't been responding to peoples poems as much as i use to; so im not expecting any responses to this. This is just kind of a childrens poem, that you might go and read to your kids or something =P
Anyhow, hope you all like it.

Hehe, thanks for the kind words peeps
It especially please me to hear that you rad it to your family
Thats exactly what i was wanting with this poem... that people might go and read it to friends etc... and get into the Christmas cheer... and remember what Christmas was like when we were all young *grinz*
