No matter what I do I can't seem to be happy,
What is wrong with me?

There is to much on my mind at all times of the day,
Sometimes I wonder if this pain will ever go away.

But no one cares about me or how I feel,
There lives revolve around themselves they are too busy to deal with me.

It's a horrible feeling knowing you are all alone in the world,
Even if there is a bunch of people around you at all times.

But I have to stay strong for everyone else,
Because I can't stop being a friend to them.

I live my life for everyone but myself which is hard,
Because I refuse to hurt people the way they hurt me.

But all I can do is hope one day things will get better,
Who knows maybe one day?

Lauren,

I was exactly where you are a little over a year ago. I can tell you that things do get better. The first thing you need to do is learn that you are important. You are important to if no on else, a lot of us here at Pip. This is a very well written poem.
