Jealousy

This girl
Stands in the way
of the one thing
that will truly make me happy,
the one thing
that I want more than anything else,
the one thing
that I cannot have,
because it belongs to her

He may have been mine,
for one moment in a million
but I let him slip from my fingertips,
until he faded away
And now
The memories in my mind
Are all that remain

And she stands
taller than I,
more beautiful than I,
an image of perfection
that I could never compete with
Knowing
that she has won,
Because I gave up
before I knew what I was losing

OK, I'd be too, if you wanna hear what I, and you have to. You have 2 options.

1: You can give up, and get over him.

Or,

2: You can't pull your self together
and win him back...

Believe me I tried it, but I weren't man enough, so I lost...but at least I know I tried...

But you lose it just weren't meant to be.
it's as simple as that.

Nikki I love this poem its really nice and I can totally relate lol w/ a certain greg situation lol well you already know about that. Im pretty sure I know who this poem is for lol ....yeah im thinkin I do . Well if you ever need to talk im here for you any time of the day sweetie . Nice work can't wait 2 see more!!!!

Nikki, hon... we've all been there, and it sucks. BUT you need to remember the way he was. Remember WHY you broke up. Put him in a better perspective. It's what you need for sanity's sake!!!

This definately was a really good poem in my opinion

That was really amazing... I think we all know that awful feeling of standing by and watching someone we truely love find happiness with someone else,

But i'm sure she's not more beautiful... It's much easier to look and see it that wasy. But i think thats just what we all think... After all if she were so much "better" he would have gone out with her first,

Anyway im rambling! Great Post... Don't worry about her, if he's worth it he'll be back in good time

WOW!!

I have to say... WOW! I felt like this exactly one year ago about this guy. DONT GIVE UP ON HIM COMPLETLY! I stuck around my guy. Well the girl he was "in love" with blew it! Wanted everything to be perfect, so he broke it off. It really hurt him but I was still here. I was able to just sit and comfort him and now were closer than ever. And maybe about to be more than friends

Anywho, I really liked the poem!
