I'll hold you close when you cry
I'll wipe away your tears,
When the whole world turns there back
I'll be here to calm your fears.

No matter what day or night
Call on me and I'll be there,
I'll always lend my ear to you
So your feelings you can share

Your my friend no matter what
I don't care what others say,
They don't know how they're missin out
Because your here for me come what may.

Guys will come and guys will go
And some will break your heart,
But no matter what I'm here to stay
Unlike them I wont depart.

So If you did not know I'm here,
Now you surely do,
I'll be here through thick and thin
And I know you will be too.

So as the years go rushing by
Best friends is what we'll be,
And dont ever ask to pay me back
For friendship has no fee.

It Feels As If I've Always Been Someone On The Outside Looking In.

Great work.

Love is like learning to play the piano. First you must learn to play by the rules, then you must forget the rules and play by your heart.

*SITS WITH JAW DROPPED*

Such a beautiful description and such feeling. I love the acceptance and security you portray. I recently wrote one about friendship which I dedicated to one of my best friends (I'm moving, I wanted to reassure we'd always remain best of friends.) So, I relate. Loved it! One of the best I've read the past coupla days.

Oh, and I realized something...

"Guys will come and guys will go
And some will break your heart,
But no matter what I'm here to stay
Unlike them I wont depart."

If a guy was gay, this would still work for him! Just thought that was humurous!   I'm not gay, but I accept anything.

LoL. Anyways... keep it up.

Sincerely,
Titus

I liked it. I thought it was nicely done.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
