It seems you’re trapped inside my head,
And I can’t let you go,
You torment my every thought,
You’re everything I know.

Maybe all the things I feel for you
Are figments of my mind,
But of everyone that’s lost these days,
You’re the one I want to find.

I don’t know how to say my heart,
Other than these silent lines,
Sometimes I almost wonder
If I placed too subtly my subtle signs.

Know this as you read these words,
This poem's meant for you,
All I ask for is just one chance,
To tell you that I love you.
