Broken hearts bleeding on the floor,
Bloodied fists beating on the door,
And still we beg for more and more,
Waiting for our turn to be the poor.

Waiting for the dead to rise,
Shuddering at the raven’s cries,
We’ll watch while the guilty dies,
Watch his mother’s sorrowed sighs.

Cradling her dead child near,
Daylight’s impaled on a bloody spear,
We’ll watch the flames glisten on her tear,
To no one’s rule will we adhere.

Torn apart for who we are,
Left to bleed and form a scar,
Left to bleed and die in our
Own prison of a shooting star.

We’ll watch the old give way to new,
Even Day submits to Night’s debut,
Are we so taboo to you,
That you’d defy us with words untrue?

Ooh, dark! Very strong words and images it brought to me. A definate contrast to the "good side" of life. Nice job!

~I am a computer genius... Hey! How do you turn this thing on?!?

~Love me because I am Rhonda
