Did we just not try enough,
Or did we try too hard?
There was no fight between us
But it seems that we’re both scarred.

Did we just not try enough,
Or did we strive too much?
You disappeared not once, but twice,
And left me longing for your touch.

Did we just not try enough,
Or did we reach too far?
My love began to fade away,
And the door was left ajar.

Did we just not try enough,
Or did we not try at all?
I realized I’d stopped loving you,
When I stopped waiting for your call.

I loved this one.  It really hit very close to home for me.  It was beautifully written and it possessed some very strong emotions within its words.  Good Job!!:-)

Oi. This sounds a bit familiar to me.   I loved the emotions here. Well done.

*grr* hate to add to the chorus but I'm in that too.  It's actually perfect, and you wrote it perfectly!  I tried but couldn't.  Anyway though, lol I got a lil tired of being yelled at in the halls at school, this helps though, thanks!

oooo love that ending adam, what a way of putting your feelings into words. This one was stronger at the end than the beginning, understandably, but it was well written. As always. Lol.
