Well here I am, I don't know about that little vacation I took but I'm gonna start posting again!  This one is just because I related to Holden Caulfield so much.  If I posted this before: I'm sorry, but I don't have a great memory.

If a body catch
A body coming through the rye
Save a body in the patch
To give for a body don’t die

Please Allie
Don’t let me disappear
Send me off to Cali
My own life I can’t stand

The mark of a mature man
To live humbly for a cause
Nobody knows the catcher in the rye
Nobody gives me pause

I must be very immature
I want to die too often
But I will live out my years
Before I crawl into a coffin

My poetry never holds a track
Or to a single stress
But I never wish to go back
It helps me to address

Holden Caulfield is the only one
I know who’s just like me
Neither of us may be any fun
But then YOU try living as we

To set us off is an easy task
It doesn’t take much to make us mask
We hide ourselves and to others ask
Then in helping we think we bask

But we are in pain, with naught
Even after we desperately fought
To keep from being this distraught
Each other are the ones we never caught

The Catcher in the Rye is one of my FAVORITE books. I think it's for the very same reason that you wrote this poem... I relate to Holden Caulfield so well. So as you can imagine I thoroughly enjoyed this poem. Thanks for sharing and I'm glad you're back.

There are always answers as long as you're open enough to accept the answers you were not looking for.
