~I'm not quite sure if this is about depression or what. But it is about a constant hole that i feel in my soul. How the hole got there i'm not quite sure. I just feel like there is a huge part of me missing and it causes me to get depressed for no reason at all.

There's an everlasting gap exisitng withen me
from the outside not very many others can see
It amazes me at times how happy I can seem
but my depression will return...I know it eventually.

There's an everlasting gap overpowing my being
my smiles aren't real and I dont know why it's happening
I can no longer laugh and I can't begin to think
I've been thrown into the ocean to do nothing but sink.

There's an everlasting gap eating away at me
I feel so upset inside which will last for eternity.
It's taking a long time for me to realize that's it's true.
But even with this gap I will always love you.

~I know the last line seems strange but I just mean that even though I don't like my "depressional phases" I love myself unconditionally

I don't think this is really truly about depression, you're just trying to write your way through it. Don't be afraid to go get help though, if you feel you need it. If you need to talk, my email's spacebear_15@hotmail.com

If you define cowardice as running away, tripping and screaming at the first sign of danger, then yes, Mister Brave Man, I guess I am a coward.
