Down came the buildings
people begin to die
panic everywhere
and yet we sit here,
and only sigh...

Only say how sorry
we feel for one another
but we must prepare
for the great future,
or start to take cover...

The country wont fall
we will stand by each other's side
continue to be strong
while the other true coward
runs and hides...

We'll protect our children
through the good times and bad
we can cheer each other up
when the times
become sad...

Forever our nation will be,
America great and tall,
not giving up hope
but sticking together as one
free for all!
I havent written a patriotic poem yet for the attacks and everything, so this is my poem for america.....im not really wanting to get a huge discussion started again on all that, but i just wanted to write something expressing myself so i feel better towards my country

Love is like learning to play the piano. First you must learn to play by the rules, then you must forget the rules and play by your heart.  

Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.
