the sun rises on a new horizon
a new day begins
a new life or two starts
and the world keeps turning

the clouds drift
as the morning crowd starts
kids running to school
and the world keeps turning

Another tuesday is starting in full spin
people rushing to work
and the world keeps turning

a  plane flies overhead
and the tragedy unfolds
some poeple run and scream, others call loved ones
and the world keeps turning

aint it weriod
how life seemed to stop
when those hijackers ruined thousands of lives
and the world, keeps on turning?

and tomorrow still keeps coming
but the tomorrow after yesterday
still floats in the air today?

and the world, keeps turning.......
