Minutes
turn to hours
as I sip
on the bitterness
eating me out
from the inside,
right to
my toes.
Maybe I should
stop
for a
break
and
take that
sweet plummet
into nothingness.

so foul and fair a day i have not seen.  - macbeth act 1, scene 3

so I'm hoping that sweet nothingness is sleep, and not a reference to hurting yourself.

if you take into account the title, it will all make sense, and you'll see it's an anti poem.

An anti-poem is any poem on a subject that is against what the person is talking about i think...Like if its about drugs it says things about how bad they r and stuff within the poem so under it all it's an anti-poem.....n e wayz i think thats what it is lol

I enjoyed this a lot...nice job and keep writing

Oh I like the way you ended this! Yay!!!

If you define cowardice as running away and screaming at the first sign of danger, then yes, Mister Brave Man, I guess I am a coward.

Too many people jump too soon... I've been lucky enough to pull back a few (my mom, my best friend, some guy at school...) but it really hurts when I think about their pain... and mine. *sigh* Blah.. enough of my mush.. thanks for posting this.. I'm starting to expect this sort of excellent poetry from you.

There are always answers as long as you're open enough to accept the answers you were not looking for.
