I laugh at my own misery Smile at my constant tears Enjoy my pain filled destiny Live for my unanswered prayers I constantly dramatize mortality Laughter always turns to pain I’m riding high on my morality Love my life with deep disdain Delight only comes with depression Sadness is my only joy I excel with each regression only content to destroy I smile but with deep sad eyes for happiness-my true demise |

Lisa, very interesting write..i dig the creativity behind this...except that i feel that a person might be slightly sadistic if he portrays the emotions as revealed in the lines of your poem...  |

this is breathtaking lisa!! i LOVE this poem..it spoke to me in a way very little poetry does! oh this all makes so much sense....to hell with the ppl who cant relate to this, this is so gooood!  could i put this in my library? could the darkness be my friend? |
