Drowning in
My own word
Hiding beneath
A false world

Listening to
A silent scream
I have lost
My hopes and dreams

I have to leave
I need to go
They ask whats wrong
They oughta know

I missed the one
A friend has gone
I miss the touch
I waited too long

Alone im sitting here
My life has ceased
I need help
Help me Jesus

No one dies a virgin, life screws us all

You seem to be headed in the right direction
Your last line tells me that
Hope you stay strong and do look for His help
You know, He'll never let you down
Thanks for sharing

Hmm...you could always look inside yourself too to find that inner peace. If your feelings get any worse than this, maybe you could also see a professional....Like a Dr.
Anyway, I hope you find what you're looking for.

Kudos! Loved the emotion and desperation in this piece!

Every now and then I like to stick my foot in my mouth...

Great poem
I like the last line especially, it allows for reassurance- You seek Jesus, He will answer, and He will help you get through it.

Great work here.  It's almost like it's a double meaning - addressed both to a close friend and to Christ.  The poem puts its message across fantastically!

"If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh"
