I can't believe I read my poems
And how quickly I let you in
If I'd known it was only a game
I would have played to win

Why was I not listening when
You warned me about your ways
When did I get so caught up
It's only been eight days

I wonder now what I did wrong
Was it something that I said
Should I have responded differently
From the feelings in my head

Or was my head not in the game
You were really playing my heart
I never should have got involved
I knew that from the start

I feel too much, I fell too fast
I will say I'm the one to blame
Don't feel bad or sad for me
Take no credit, have no shame

I really don't expect you to
A natural born playa, am I right
You most likely forget a girl
As soon as she's outta sight

I can't say you didn't hurt me
You did, I can feel the pain
But don't worry, I will recover
What's your loss is my gain

I liked this... I can feel what happened as you write it. Stupid men, think they're hot stuff... Players my butt...grrr... anyway.. nice work, I liked it much!

Oh wow, that really sums it up. That is such a good piece. Definately the truth, sadly, that what you described happens. You'll eventually wake up one day and say, "I don't need him" and feel no pain. When that happens, you'll be a new person. Kudos to you.

Hello,
  Well, thank you for the share I liked this a lot.. And I know how you feel with this one my frist love was a lil player and i knew it.. And He would try me to do things wit him when he knew that i knew he had a g/f.. but I feel for it anways!! It's tuff they always play hard to get and it's soo cute!!! Ya know.. haha well thanks for sharing!!!
