i used to be one of many,
making wishes on shooting stars.
impossible dreams and illusive hopes,
clear in my eyes...pointed towards mars.

then you came along,
turned my night to day.
chased away the darkness,
sunshine's here to stay.

twilight will be nevermore,
shadows nonexistant.
brightness filled an empty void,
'cause you were so persistant.

happiness replaced the dark,
raindrops fail to fall.
forever joy is in our eyes,
i'm giving you my all.

What a great poem. It is nice when someone comes and clears up the darkness. Thanks for posting.

Ahh how nice. I hope you and Doug are happy together for a long time. It's really good to see someone making you this happy. Chasing away the darkness is always a good thing to hear.
