Vermilion sands of political strain,
Wandering hands of scarlet stain,
Marching troops of vagrant wane
Bring worthless days of crimson rain.

Contrary thoughts of carmine rage,
Pois’nous words on bloody stage,
Senseless wars the senseless wage
Bring cerise hurt to every age.

Magenta scars from battle’s dawn
The stepping forth of every pawn,
Crimson kings, though dead and gone,
Bring bloodied swords to soon be drawn.

Fugitive minds lost to rubied war,
Rubicund men of rotting core,
Bloodied fists of shattered rapport
Bring battle knocking at our door.

Vermilion sands of stone and chain,
Suppressed thoughts of the dead and slain,
Rudimentary laws broken in vain
Bring scarlet stones to crush the sane.

Carmine hearts that’ve lost control,
Stinging words that burn the soul,
Flying pieces of embered coal
Bring countless deaths to pay the toll.

Hate-filled pictures inside their heads,
Crimson stains where the innocent bled,
Feet treading where feet shouldn’t tread
Bring bright-scarlet bags to carry the dead.

Dead tears stinging like salted brine,
Unions fraying like bloody twine,
Vermilion sands of all things malign
Brought to a land soaked with crimson wine.

Here's one that is doubtless
I will love you always Jess
Never think I could love you less

A++ all the way.  I'm sure this'll blow away the other poems in class.

Whoa! *puts her eyes back in* Has anyone seen my jaw? It disconnected and ran away.

Adam, once again another brilliant display of your talent. I know I wouldn't be able to get this much out of a freakin' colour. I really enjoyed this. I had images popping out of my head left, right and centre!

Well done on this one. Be proud.

"Alright!..."
