An American Tradgedy
Within a matter of seconds,
Everything we've stood for,
Everything hundreds of hard working Americans have built,
All came tumbling down,
Oh what a tradgedy,
To see the World Trade Center collapse to the ground,
Thousands of lives lost or not found,
Thousands of family members crying in pain,
Everything around them gone,
The people that did this felt no shame,
Its hard for me to say that "They will pay!",
Not that war is a part of me,
When they kill,
Family,
Friends,
And thousands of innocent people,
I will be the first to climb on the wagon,
I will be the first to fight for my nation,
I will be the first to stand on native soil and say "God Bless America"
What a shame,
The most powerful part we can deal with now,
The rebirth of our nation,
So again we can stand proud,
"America under attack" is what headlines say,
"Americans reuniting a lost flame" is what I say,
They may have hit us hard,
And killed many,
In a way they made us stronger,
United we stand,
United we fall,
United untill Justice is served,
Once again let me say
GOD BLESS AMERICA
And I LOVE THE USA.

All you other poets beware my true feelings and poetry are about to flare!

It is a tragedy indeed
Why others can seem to justify such an act, i just don't understand.
Let's all just stay strong and pray for the victims and their families
God Bless America

Branden this was a very moving poem.  I liked it and it had a lot of personal thought.  I liked it.  Keep up the great work.
