The Hot Girl From Canada

Burning buildings crash to the ground,
Police cars make an awful sound.

Four planes were hi-jacked in the air,
As they crashed into buildings people stared.

One plane hit the first twin tower,
The second one hit on the eighth hour.

The third one glided through the pentagon,
Something here is terribly wrong.

The world trades centers crumble to ash,
But wait there is still one more plane to crash.

The last plane went down with a fight,
Passengers pleaded with all there might.

Everyone died on each plane,
Family and friends are going insane.

Many are injured and thousands have died,
People are angry and tears have been cried.

Bush is angry and he declairs war,
And now we wait to see whats in store.

This poem is dedicated to my auntie, and everyone else who died in the terrorist attacks on September 11/2001.  Rest in peace auntie Lianne

Indeed we do and it will be quite scary when things do start to happen. I'm not looking forward to it one bit.

*hugs* I am so sorry to hear about your Aunty. It isn't fair that innocent people had to die to prove a point. I liked the piece. The couplets were good to use. The lines were short but got to the point whilst still adding the right amount of power.

Nice write and keep sharing.

This is definitely a tragic event
We can only pray that this is the end of it
Thanks for sharing

Things I Have Learned I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in

I'm sorry about your Aunt.
And THANKYOU for mentioning the plane in Pittsburgh...All the poems I've read so far on the subject haven't mentioned that one at all. (Though, I've only read like 5.)
Wonderful job, nice flow...thoughtful dedication.

United we stand, Divided we fall.
Never say die.
