Hiding somewhere in the dark,
Always told evil was my mark.
Shadow at night never seen,
Senses developed to be most keen.
Adapted to the shadows,
Stretched here and there across the shallows.
Unknown is my persistance,
Cautious of my existance.
What can it be that is so blunt?
That lurks deep in the shadows to hunt.
Listening to the way it walks,
Eyeing everything that it stalks.
Not knowing where and when to turn,
The final lesson you have to learn.
Reveal yourself to those you trust,
Decayed in denial of personal lust.
Lying calmly in the ashes,
While rich people throw their elegant bashes.
Lurking somewhere not too far,
Better make a wish on the right lucky star.
In the shadows is where I choose to lurk,
Across my fave spreads an evil smirk.
Are you scared?
Cross the path no one has dared.
This I challenge you,
Let's see if you do....

Only darkness falls on those without souls

i thought that this was brilliant. i loved this one as much as your "reflections.." poem. you seem to write very dark poetry and it seems to hit you like a cold hand on a blind night. again you did very well with this one i enjoyed it lots..keep it up Kyle.
